The other day as I was going through my refrigerator, I noticed I have a lot of hot sauces. In fact, I have so many, I thought to myself, “hmmm…” why not make my own?

I decided to go with a nice and easy jalapeno hot sauce homemade recipe.

*Warning, your home will smell like hot peppers. Please have proper ventilation.*

Here’s what you’ll need for this recipe:

8 Jalapeños

1 Small Onion -OR- 2 Tsp Minced Onions

3 Cloves Garlic -OR- 3 Tsp Minced Garlic

1 Cup Vinegar

½ Water

½ Tsp Garlic Powder

½ Tsp Paprika

½ Cayenne Pepper

Add 1.5 tablespoons of oil to your pot.

First, chop up all your jalapenos.

Now it’s time to turn on the stove and add your garlic and your onions. Give that a stir.

Add your jalapenos to your pot and allow it to simmer for 10 minutes.

Now, add your vinegar, water and seasonings.  Stir and let come to a boil for 30 minutes.

Once boiled, allow to cool for 45 minutes to an hour before blending.  I prefer to leave mines overnight and blend in the morning.

Pour into your personal containers for storage and don’t forget to refrigerate!
