I wanted to jazz up my espresso drink! After all espresso is already very good. However, why not enhance it with something a little green? That’s why I went ahead and tried my own version for this DIY matcha espresso latte.

Here’s what you leave for this recipe:

1 tsp matcha

1 tbsp sugar

2 tbsp hot water

1 oz. espresso

1/4 cup milk

1/4 cup Ice

First boil your hot water. Combine one teaspoon of matcha and one tablespoon of sugar.

Then add two tablespoons of hot water. Combine your matcha, sugar and hot water together with a milk frother or a whisk.

Pour into your drinking glass and begin to make your espresso.

Add one fourth cup of ice, then one fourth cup milk to your glass. To finish, pour over one ounce of espresso.

It’s really good guys! This is my favorite way to have my matcha!
