So I’ve noticed that 7UP hasn’t been popping up much on the radar as of late. In fact, some places don’t even carry it anymore, which just makes me really, really sad. However, there’s always a bright side to things when you’re a DIY’er. And I decided, let me try my handle at making my own 7up right at home.
Here’s what you’ll need for this recipe:
1 cup white sugar
1 cup corn syrup
1/2 tsp country time lemonade mix
1 1/4 cup boiling hot water
1 tbsp lime juice
2 tbsp lemon juice
9 cups cold soda water
Ice cubes
Combine the sugar and lemonade mix and give that a stir. Next add in your hot water and right away your corn syrup.

Finally, I add your lemon and lime juice and stir. Cover it and leave it in the fridge for a minimum of three hours before serving. After three hours, add three tablespoons to a glass, and one cup of soda water. Stir gently and don’t forget the ice.
And here it is, your very own 7UP made right at home.
It’s a really, really good 7UP substitute. Oh my gosh. I’m so happy.
It’s refreshing. It’s light and it’ll work If you don’t have the real thing.
