MAKE YOUR OWN CHEESIER CHEEZ-ITS! | KETO FRIENDLY RECIPE!

Want to make your own Cheez-Its right at home? Well keep on reading and I’ll tell you how to do this at home DIY cheese recipe!

So for months, I’ve been searching for Cheez-Its in Canada, and let me tell you, they’re not the easiest thing to find. However, thankfully, after checking out Black Sheep Keto’s youtube channel, I was able to find a DIY recipe and wanted to share it with you and see how it turned out. 

 

The cut size for my cheese is 1.5 from the local grocery store, Loblaws.

 

First, preheat your oven at 250 degrees. Cut the cheese into squares and space evenly on parchment paper. Now it’s time to season!

 

Season with salt for your cheddar cheese and for your provolone, I’m using a recommended barbecue seasoning. Bake for 35 minutes.

 

After 35 minutes, remove your cheese from the oven and let them cool for a bit. They may still be a bit flimsy when warm, so really allow them to cool down so that they can harden. 

 

I actually put regular Cheez-Its next to it (photo above) just so you could see the color difference as well as the texture.  The Cheez-It itself is of course, a bit thicker and the Keto version is a bit thinner.

 

Now I’m going to give it a try; first tasting of my at-home Cheez-Its…

 

Oh my gosh! I just want to take these originals and throw them away. Oh my God!

 

They’re so flavorful and perfect. And that’s just the cheddar. Let me try the provolone.

 

It’s so lovely. Be still my heart. It’s really good. Wow!
