Now I’m so excited to do this recipe. It’s claimed to be the most authentic tasting sweet tea just like Chick-fil-A!  So that’s where I come in. I’m going to try it and I’m going to tell you guys what I think.

Here we go!

For this recipe you need two Lipton family size teabags, four cups of hot -not boiling- water, and simple syrup.

Place your teabags at the bottom of a pitcher and add four cups of hot water so they can steep. I personally use three tea bags because I thought two wasn’t enough. Let the tea bags steep for 15 minutes.

While the tea is steeping, you could start to add or make simple syrup.

To make simple syrup you’d use three fourths cups of water and three fourths cups of sugar. I made mine right in my measuring cup. My water was already warm, so I slowly added my sugar and stirred until it dissolved.

After 15 minutes, remove your teabags and add your simple syrup if you haven’t already. Fill the remainder of your pitcher with cold water. Let your sweet tea chill and serve with lemon.

All done. Now it’s time to taste it!

So refreshing! You have to give this a try! It tastes so good and yes, it does taste like Chick-fil-A Sweet Tea!
